Role/Department:
The Accounting Product Lead is accountable for the strategy and evolution of the global accounting product suite, including portfolio accounting, daily unitization, plan allocation and related capabilities. This management role serves as the single point of accountability across the enterprise, driving client value, commercial performance, and modernization while ensuring alignment across Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk, and senior leadership stakeholders.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Asset Servicing Product Ownership
- Own the global portfolio of accounting products and capabilities
- Define product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap
- Integrate accounting, data, reporting, and service capabilities into cohesive client solutions
- Strategic Leadership
- Define market positioning, value proposition, and competitive differentiation
- Lead industry analysis and innovation, including modernization initiatives
- Represent the organization in client engagements and external industry forums
- Stakeholder Engagement & Enterprise Alignment
- Align Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders
- Engage senior leadership to drive strategy, prioritisation, and decision-making
- Partner with Sales and Relationship teams to shape client solutions
- Commercial & Financial Leadership
- Own pricing strategy with accountability for product P&L and financial performance
- Lead capital planning, investment prioritisation, and business case development
- Drive revenue growth through a competitive and market-relevant product strategy
- Execution & Governance
- Sponsor delivery across all stages of the product lifecycle
- Ensure adherence to governance, risk, and control frameworks
- Manage cross-functional dependencies, execution risks, and outcomes

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
