About the Role: The Regulatory Program Manager role will lead enterprise deliveries encompassing financial and non-financial risk regulations, and provide continuity across various programs and projects necessary to manage effective regulatory change across a global organization and ensure that it is operationally embedded for continued compliance. The ideal candidate will have a track record of supporting complex change programs, particularly in the compliance space and have a well-practiced understanding of regulatory frameworks, working with diverse, cross-functional teams and facilitating reporting needs from stakeholders across the organization.

The Key Responsibilities of the Role include:

  • Leading the execution of identified regulatory change deliveries
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across all lines of defense, multiple business units and operational leaders to quickly identify and create effective and sustainable solutions for managing regulatory risk
  • Leading Working Group meetings to support transformation and maintaining efficient and appropriate governance to enable successful outcomes
  • Maintaining program data and business intelligence solutions to support successful execution of complex, cross-enterprise change projects.
  • Maintaining business intelligence solutions to communicate program objectives; risks; issues and overall status to multiple levels of the organization.
  • Managing deliverables with a forward-looking mindset, i.e., proactively anticipating any potential issues, prevent them and/or define pragmatic contingency plans, with timely escalations as needed
  • Proactively managing dependencies, ‘reusable assets’ (components of a solution that have been built elsewhere already), roadblocks and learning points (i.e., milestones defined to provide clarity and direction)
  • Developing and controlling deadlines, budgets and activities pertaining to the supported projects
  • Leveraging and contributing to best practice in change management and execution of complex cross-enterprise deliveries
  • Translating and operationalizing project/program requirements and source system data into appropriate solutions
  • Effectively communicate with developers, data architects and infrastructure resources to ensure there is a clear and concise understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Deep understanding of project management and portfolio management tools, techniques and methods (i.e., what good looks like), change management principles and how to build and deliver high-performing teams
  • Experience in the financial services industry with an understanding of regulatory obligations, compliance and risk management within asset servicing, wealth management and banking, and the regulatory environment in which they operate
  • Knowledge of and experience in agile ways of working is an asset
  • Great skills across communication, facilitation, interpersonal, conflict resolution, team building, coaching members on practices, framework, ability to teach/train etc.
  • Ability to establish trust-based relationships with stakeholders across enterprise, lead them towards common objectives and managing upwards and downwards (e.g., experience acting as a constructive conduit between business and non-business teams)
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Strong problem-solving skills, organizational skills and time management skills
  • Openness to self-learning, improvement and innovation
  • Several years serving as a program manager or other relevant role
