Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for executing the strategy for the Defined Contributions Pensions Product across Europe with responsibilities that include:
  • Performing launches and post launch assessments/recommendations.
  • Responsible for Product Management Lifecycle activities such as defining the target client segment market and evaluating industry trends and uncovering opportunities.
  • Developing market insight by defining the target client segment markets and evaluating European Defined Contribution industry trends.
  • Formulating strategy for the group by aligning cross functional teams, uncovering opportunities and determining life cycle states.
  • Shaping the value proposition, developing the business case and defining the marketing mix model as part of the new product planning process.
  • Leading in introducing new products to the market by securing regulatory approvals, publishing marketing material and conducting sales training.
  • Assessing industry movement and refining value based pricing post the launch of new product.
  • Attending and presenting at industry events and publishing in industry publications.
  • Providing sales support including presenting at client and prospect meetings.
  • Creating strategies for cross-program coordination and go-to market rollouts.
  • Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
  • Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
  • Conducts post launch audits, tracks product success, analyses P&L, metrics, KPIs, and makes recommendations for improvements to promotional programs.

The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills & experience:

  • Proven ability to lead initiatives relating to client segmentation, evaluating market trends and uncovering opportunities.
  • Prior experience serving as a multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficient in constructing/overseeing logical and conclusive presentations, distilling complex subject matter into management-ready materials.
  • Proven track record in building key relationships, influencing and negotiating with clients, partners and leaders across multiple disciplines.
  • Prior program or project management experience is advantageous; planning, analysis, design and governance.
  • Strong knowledge of business strategy development is necessary to provide long term planning and to manage the profitability/performance of a major business segment.
  • Leadership and organizational skills to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff.
  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience.
