Overview

In this role you will lead innovative outcomes at the intersection of AI, data and business transformation within Northern Trust’s Enterprise Change Management Office.

You will collaborate with end users and leadership to identify opportunities, rapidly prototype solutions, and drive production adoption across the bank.

You will set up and oversee an internal innovation framework, shaping policies and controls to align with goals and regulatory requirements.

You will work with cross‑functional teams to scale AI-enabled workflows and deliver measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Design future-state operating models leveraging technology and AI to improve efficiency, risk management, and decision-making
  • Embed innovation within ECM delivery pillars and business teams to augment or automate workflows
  • Deploy and integrate AI, analytics, and workflow solutions into enterprise platforms
  • Build prototypes and production-ready solutions with measurable business value
  • Develop multi-year implementation roadmaps to accelerate execution and improve controls and reporting
  • Create integrations, APIs, and automation workflows connecting enterprise systems
  • Collaborate with architecture, engineering, and platform teams to ensure scalable solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation of business processes (intake, assessments, reporting)
  • Partner with enterprise initiatives (e. g., AI Horizon) to inform strategic adoption and productivity
  • Support change adoption, training, and stakeholder engagement across the organization
  • Define feedback loops and capture insights from deployments and user interactions
  • Assist stand up of ECM’s center of excellence and advisory capability with readiness toolkit
  • Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
  • Experience implementing AI models and tooling, preferably in a change management context
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and practices; applying them to automation, RPA, and AI enablement
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills; ability to manage complex workflows
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to produce change management insights
  • Ability to scope, plan, and assess change initiatives
  • Experience with portfolio, program, and change management tools and applications
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across business, technology, risk, and operations
