Overview
In this role you will support Northern Trust’s AML center of excellence in Guernsey by performing onboarding verifications and ongoing investor monitoring. You will work within Ireland Investor AML Onboarding and Ongoing Monitoring teams to ensure compliance, risk assessment, and timely documentation updates across the EMAssigned scope. You will collaborate with Transfer Agency and Client Services to deliver a robust AML service to a global investor base. The opportunity combines regulatory expertise with large-scale, cross-border program work, offering meaningful impact in a trusted financial institution.
Responsibilities
- Perform AML verification for investors prior to fund account onboarding
- Conduct risk assessments and gather initial due diligence documentation
- Monitor investor changes and trigger requirement for documentation refresh
- Oversee overnight screening and transaction monitoring of investor activity
- Carrying out periodic reviews to maintain up-to-date due diligence
- Collaborate with Northern Trust Transfer Agency and Client Services across EMEA
- Contribute to strategic AML rollout projects and ensure high AML standards
- Deliver robust AML Onboarding and Ongoing Monitoring services to clients and investors
Key requirements
- Organised with deadline-driven approach
- Strong collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience in managing large projects
- Background in risk management, compliance, or process improvement
- Knowledge of fund administration or investor services is a plus
- Willingness to undergo training and work independently
- Senior roles require extensive AML/Transfer Agency knowledge and regulatory awareness
- Experience in AML with ongoing monitoring practices and EMEA regulatory landscape is ideal
