MOT Tester/Technician/Mechanic

Northern Stag Centre is a well established garage with a great reputation and a large loyal customer base. We are an all makes, all models garage and work on a large variety of vehicles providing a high level of service to our customers.

We are looking to recruit two experienced technicians to join or team.

Along with your standard garage services we also carry out a variety of automotive services that other garages might not entertain.

• Engine removal and rebuilds

• Classic car restoration

• Welding and fabrication

• Race car preparation

We are currently undertaking a number restorations and race car builds.

Diagnostic experience is not crucial but would be an advantage, training will be provide on our equipment but underpinning knowledge is a must.

Extra time is paid for Saturdays which are worked on rotation. We have a 3,500 sq. ft. workshop with all the latest tools and diagnostic equipment.

A management role will becoming available in the near future. An applicant that has experience or the aptitude to manage would be advantageous.

Responsibilities and Duties

MOT testing, Diagnostic, servicing, general maintenance and items such as braking,clutch,timing belts,steering and suspension.

Qualifications and Skills

MOT testers licence (not a must). At least 5 years mechanical experience and NVQ/BTEC level 3 or equivalent motor vehicle technician.
