To provide Mechanical and Electrical engineering support to the business by safely carrying out the installation, maintenance, repair, inspection, and continuous improvement of manufacturing machinery, engineering plant, and site services. The role is focused on ensuring all production equipment and utilities operate efficiently, safely, and reliably to minimise downtime and support business objectives.

  • Mechanically and electrically maintain, inspect and repair a variety of production machinery and site equipment.
  • To provide engineering shift support to the business.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical breakdowns in a timely manner.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities individually and as part of a team.
  • Ensuring all engineering documentation and maintenance records are completed accurately.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades.
  • Maintain site services and utilities to ensure operational reliability.
  • Provide support across all business locations including factory and distribution facilities where required.

Essential

  • A recognised engineering apprenticeship or formal engineering training (minimum of 2 years) in a multi skilled discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ post-apprenticeship engineering experience with a strong mechanical bias.

Desirable

  • 17/18th Edition Electrical qualification.
  • Health and safety qualifications.
  • Forklift truck.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Proven experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong preventative and reactive maintenance experience. Ability to carry out basic motor testing and electrical fault-finding on industrial equipment, including motors, drives, and associated control circuits. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and production systems. Earlies and Lates - Monday - Friday (No nights or weekends). Shorter days on a Friday. £44,173.
