I'm looking for a creative and proactive Content & Communication Manager (Stand alone role) to join a lovely company based in Preston. You’ll be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering engaging content that inspires a specific community within FMCG, supports business goals, and strengthens their brand presence across digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Create and edit on-brand content – including videos, copy, and graphics, supporting business goals, engaging audiences, and delivering measurable outcomes. Work with the Marketing Manager to develop creative campaigns and storytelling concepts that bring our products and partnerships to life. Support the Marketing Manager during brand photoshoots, helping to plan, capture, and produce content for use across all platforms.
  • Website & Amazon Management: Create and update engaging website content, including copy, graphics, and video. Work alongside our SEO partners to ensure all SEO recommendations are implemented effectively. Manage and maintain social media and sales platforms, ensuring all pages are fresh, visually appealing, and up to date with the latest product information, imagery, and brand messaging.
  • Email Marketing: Manage and execute email marketing campaigns. Write engaging and visually appealing email copy that aligns with campaigns and product launches. Track and analyse performance to continuously improve engagement and conversion.
  • PR & Communications: Identify and create PR opportunities to increase brand visibility and support product launches and campaigns. Write and distribute high impact press releases, news stories, and media materials. Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners. Support event communications, including trade shows, collaborations, and award nominations.
  • Trends: Stay up to date with market trends. Act upon emerging trends by creating relevant, timely, and engaging content. Effectively communicate trends to the wider team to help shape future marketing activity.
  • Brand Communications: Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all communications. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all content aligns with marketing strategy and brand objectives. Support wider communications activity including product launches, events, and press activity.

Skills & Experience:

  • 2-3 years experience in content creation or digital marketing ideally within an FMCG background.
  • Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills with a creative eye for detail and design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Skilled in producing polished graphics and videos through Canva and various editing tools.
  • Experience using HubSpot or other email marketing platforms.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and website management (Shopify).

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. M-F. Driving license essential. Pay: Up to £31,000.

Benefits: Company pension. WFH. This role requires a minimum of one day per week in the Preston office, with additional on-site days as needed based on business requirements.
