Northern Skills are recruiting on behalf of FPP Benefits Group for a Retrofit Coordination Apprentice to join their team. Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands‑on experience.
A retrofit Coordinator acts as a project manager for residential property owners, overseeing energy‑efficiency measures being installed in line with quality standards of PAS 2035. We are there to protect all stakeholders within the job and to ensure that the job has been done to the highest of standards. As an apprentice you will learn all of the above whilst supporting the current team.
Responsibilities
- Completion of basic documentation
- Downloading and uploading documents from/to various portals
- Communicating with the client regarding missing documentation
- Use of Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel
- Accurately input and process data from databases and spreadsheets
- Answer emails and phone calls
- Using CRM systems Elmhurst Pashub and Trustmark database systems

Training
Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages. Produces accurate records and documents including emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals. Makes recommendations for improvements and presents solutions to management. Exercises proactivity and good judgment. Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning and is able to deal with challenges in a mature way. Seeks advice from more experienced team members when appropriate. Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation. Demonstrates ability to influence and challenge appropriately.
