Training
Apprenticeships include time away from work for specialist training. You will study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
- Use standard tools to examine data, identify transactional issues such as reconciliations and invoice discrepancies.
- Recognise and rectify routine errors, escalating as necessary.
- Plan and review accounting and finance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, using clear language and digital media, considering risks and benefits of social media and digital applications.
- Utilise finance and accounting software to manage data and contribute to routine tasks.
- Handle data securely, following cyber and data security protocols, including data backup.
- Record transactional data accurately.
Your training plan
- Northern Skills, the apprenticeship training arm of Middlesbrough College, offers classes around the northeast.
- Day release at Newcastle Site (Stamp Exchange, Westgate Road, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE1 1SA)
- You will work towards completing your Level 2 AAT Qualification during the apprenticeship.
