Shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off (Rotating schedule)

Hours: 3 hours per day (12 hours total per 8-day cycle)

In this role, you will be the face of our security presence, ensuring the safety of staff, customers, and property. This position requires excellent communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach, as you will frequently be working with and supporting vulnerable people within the community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Professional Presence: Provide a high‑visibility, professional onsite security presence.
  • Crime Deterrent: Actively deter criminal activity, theft, and anti‑social behaviour.
  • Safety & Protection: Provide robust protection for customers, property, and staff, maintaining a safe environment for everyone.
  • Site Patrols: Conduct thorough internal and external site patrols, including visual checks of the surrounding areas.
  • Operations & Alarms: Manage site open and lock‑up procedures, and respond swiftly and professionally to alarm calls.
  • Concierge Duties: Deliver excellent customer service and front‑of‑house concierge duties.
  • Community Interaction: Engage respectfully and effectively when interacting or working with vulnerable individuals.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • SIA Licence: A valid SIA licence is essential for this role.
  • Vetting: Must be able to provide a full, 5‑year checkable history to complete standard BS7858 vetting and screening.
  • Flexibility: Must be flexible to work various shift patterns, including weekends.
  • Attributes: Smart, presentable, polite, and approachable. Punctual, reliable, and highly vigilant. Professional and confident in making independent decisions on your own accord.
