Security Officer - Middlesbrough

Hours: 16:30 - 20:30
Shift Pattern: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone seeking part‑time evening work, fit around other commitments, or to gain experience within a security and support environment.
Overview
As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, calm, and supportive environment for residents, including engaging professionally with vulnerable individuals. This is a people‑focused position requiring patience, awareness, and strong interpersonal skills.
Your Responsibilities
- Providing a professional concierge presence on site
- Monitoring access and ensuring site safety
- Supporting and interacting appropriately with site visitors
- Managing incidents calmly and professionally
- Maintaining accurate records and handovers
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
What we're looking for
- Strong communication and people skills
- Calm, patient, and professional approach
- Ability to work independently during evening shifts
- Reliable and punctual with good attention to detail
- Experience in concierge, security, housing, or support roles (desirable but not essential)
