£13.45 per hour

Full Time Contract (Days, nights and weekends)

Northern Security Ltd is a well-established security provider, operating in the industry since 1998. We hold several industry accreditations and are a recognised training provider. We currently have a vacancy for a Security Officer based in and around Carlisle. Having the ability to work independently and well under pressure, a flexible attitude to shift work is valued highly.

Due to the location of some sites, the candidate must have their own transport.

Job Description

  • Providing an onsite professional security presence
  • Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and anti-social behaviour
  • Provide protection for customers, property and staff
  • Internal and external site patrols
  • Concierge duties

Applicants must be:

  • Smart and presentable
  • Polite and approachable
  • Professional and able to make decisions on their own accord
  • Vigilant for anything out of the ordinary
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Flexible for work shifts
  • Be able to provide five‑year check‑able history to complete BS7858 vetting and screening
