We currently have a vacancy for a Security Officer based in Ambleside. Having the ability to work independently and well under pressure, a flexible attitude to shift work is highly valued.
Due to the location of the site, and the need to occasionally use an onsite vehicle, applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence.
Job Details
- Salary: £12.60 per hour
- Employment Type: Full Time (Days, Nights & Weekends) and Relief Contracts available
Responsibilities
- Providing a professional security presence onsite
- Deterring criminal activity, theft, and anti-social behaviour
- Providing protection for customers, property, and staff
- Internal and external site patrols
- Responding to fire alarm activations
- Supporting campus activities such as classroom setups
- Concierge duties

- First Aid trained
- Smart, presentable, polite, and approachable
- Professional with decision-making skills
- Vigilant and punctual
- Flexible for shifts
- Ability to provide a 5-year checkable history for BS7858 vetting
