We currently have a vacancy for a Relief Security Officer based in Ambleside. Having the ability to work independently and well under pressure, a flexible attitude to shift work is something we value highly.

Β£12.60 per hour

Relief Contract (Days, Nights and Weekends)

Due to the location of site, and the need to occasionally use an onsite vehicle, applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Student Support
  • Providing assistance to Campus in regards to class room set ups
  • Responding to Fire Alarm activations
  • Providing an onsite professional security presence
  • Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and anti-social behaviour
  • Provide protection for customers, property and staff
  • Internal and external site patrols
  • Concierge duties

Applicants must be

  • First Aid trained
  • Smart and presentable
  • Polite and approachable
  • Professional and able to make decisions on their own accord
  • Vigilant for anything out of the ordinary
  • Punctual & reliable
  • Be flexible for work shifts
  • Be able to provide 5 year checkable history to complete BS7858 vetting and screening
