This is a full-time on-site role based in Carlisle for a Control and Scheduling Manager. The individual will oversee staff scheduling, ensure efficient deployment of resources, and coordinate with clients to meet their security requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing shift patterns
- Handling staff queries
- Responding to incidents
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
- Monitoring operational procedures
- Providing timely reports to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in workforce scheduling, time management, and resource allocation
- Strong understanding of security management, contract administration, and compliance with regulations
- Experience in leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making in dynamic environments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills
- Proficiency in computer systems, software tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in security operations or facilities management, with relevant certifications (e.g., SIA license, NSI training) being advantageous
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and to handle emergency situations effectively
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and adapt to operational needs
Salary: £35,000 per annum for a 42.5 hour flexible working week - to be available to cover shifts as and when required.
