As a Project Coordinator in People in Change, you will play a key role in initially supporting the successful development of the ED3 regulatory plan, focusing on workforce resilience and supporting the wider directorate. Following completion of ED3 plan activities, the role will then complete project co-ordination activities across other People and Change initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys project related work, stakeholder coordination, data and contributing to the transformation of Northern Powergrid’s future direction.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery Planning
- Assist the Workforce Resilience Lead in the planning and delivery of workstream activities as part of the wider business regulatory planning for ED3.
- Coordination and support delivery of project meetings and workshops, including related administration activity. Maintain an accurate record of approved project schedules, trackers and action logs, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Monitor and support with regular reporting on achievements, risks and opportunities associated with the plans.
- Support the preparation of regulatory documents, reports and presentations.
- Assist in preparing evidence and documentation for internal reviews and Ofgem submissions.
- Support with quality control checks for project documentation for regulatory compliance, required governance, safety and quality assurance standards.
- Support with collation of related data, including validation and analysis to produce clear, insightful reports for senior stakeholders.
- Support wider departmental planning and events when required
Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
- Clean UK driving licence.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Experience in organising events with a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse data and present insights clearly.
- Experienced in Microsoft office suites.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- 2 A-Levels / Equivalent
- Understanding of; or interest in People operations and HR processes.
- Familiar with project management principles and practices.
- Familiar with creating presentations communicating information to a range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, APM).
- Some understanding of RIIO regulatory frameworks or DNO operations.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent IT fluency and proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ideally experience in project management processes and tool.
- Maintain consistent programme systems and tools, including templates.
- Ability to analyse information and data.
- A self-managing team player with a high degree of initiative and the ability to balance competing demands.
- Understand the planning process and ideally have experience in a regulatory field.
- Have past experience, or relevant experience in supporting a manager or team.
