An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic colleague to join our Oracle Transformation Program in the role of People System Specialist, supporting the continuous improvement, optimisation and governance of our Oracle Fusion HCM platform.

As a dedicated People System Specialist, you will be an essential contributor to ensuring our HCM technology delivers efficient processes, accurate data, excellent user experience and alignment to business requirements.

As an HR Systems Specialist, you will act as a subject matter expert across the HR Systems landscape, advising on system improvements, supporting configuration cycles, analysing data, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that system design and processes support operational and strategic needs. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the People Directorate, D&I, Finance, and external partners to ensure the integrity, reliability and evolution of our core HCM modules.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion HCM, providing specialist knowledge, guidance and technical support across HR systems.
  • Identify, analyse and support the delivery of system enhancements, release impacts and configuration changes across HCM modules.
  • Lead and support testing activities, including test planning, script creation, execution, validation and defect resolution.
  • Maintain data integrity, troubleshoot system errors, and collaborate with IS partners to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Support system security and role-based access, ensuring compliance, audit readiness and controlled governance.
  • Analyse processes and collaborate with stakeholders to design improvements that enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Prepare system documentation, guides, training materials and provide user support as required.
  • Assist with reporting requirements and provide data insights to support decision-making.
  • Support the HR System Lead in delivering the HCM systems roadmap and ensuring business readiness for changes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex system data and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Capability to solve problems and propose practical, efficient solutions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications and Attributes

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with Oracle Fusion HCM or another enterprise HRIS platform
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and the employee lifecycle
  • Experience supporting HR systems configuration, testing or functionality
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting within HR systems
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
