Resource Manager Engineering

Resource Managers will set and deliver prioritised programmes of work to time, cost, quality, safety and customer service standards utilising resources allocated by the Resource Managers and contractor service providers. Resource Manager will assign work to their allocated team and ensure the effective development and performance of individuals within their team. The position is offered on a fixed term contract of 2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and deliver prioritised programmes of work to time, cost, quality, safety and customer service standards utilising resources allocated by the Resource Managers and contractor service providers.

Manage and develop a multi-skilled team of engineering colleagues to deliver the zone’s programmes of operational work, (planned and unplanned work) optimising colleague utilisation, maximising productivity and anticipating future skills demand.

Essential Qualifications: – evidence must be provided

• HNC in Electrical engineering or equivalent

• SAP authorisation on overhead and/or ground mounted systems

Desirable Experience:

• Management of projects and/or staff

• Network operations on the LV and HV system

• SAP authorisation on overhead and/or ground mounted systems

Grade: Technical TL5

Salary: £65,806 – £77,418 Plus up to 10% Bonus
