If you’re an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP), confident in operating at voltages from 11kV to 132kV, this is your chance to play a key role in delivering capital reinforcement and new connection projects for both demand and generation customers.
As a Project Delivery Engineer, you’ll manage a range of technical construction projects, oversee outage planning, and take part in an operational standby rota once authorised.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery and management of varied technical construction projects safely and to time, cost and quality
- Operate on the distribution network as an SAP at all voltages from 11kV to 132kV
- Deliver capital reinforcement projects on the HV and EHV networks
- Deliver new connection projects, including both demand and generation customers
- Manage all aspects of outage planning for your allocated projects, including preparing and executing emergency plans
- Participate in an operational standby rota once authorised
- Ability to undertake plant and equipment commissioning
- Extensive experience of delivering projects to time, cost and quality
- Ability to plan, control and co-ordinate short to medium term project resources
Qualifications:
- HNC, HND, degree, or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with at least three years of relevant experience
- Hold existing HV or EHV Senior Authorised Person status operating on a UK based distribution or transmission network, or UK based privately operated electricity network
- NEBOSH/IOSH or similar qualification
