Do you want to help power your career and be part of an evolving energy industry? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Property Co-ordinator to join our Property team. The energy industry is advancing with investment in smart technology innovation and Northern Powergrid, as the company responsible for powering everyday life for 8 million customers across 3.9 million homes and businesses in the Northeast, Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire, is at the forefront of delivering a power network that meets the region’s needs, now and in the future.

As a Property Co-Ordinator, you will provide operations co-ordination support to the Property team. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, external legal and professional service providers, engineers, project teams and contractors.

Along with a competitive salary between £30,424 and £33,323 we also offer:

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct and liaise with external solicitors and property experts on legal notices and agreements
  • Manage landlord and agent relationships, handling queries and supporting effective service delivery
  • Process rent, leases, and property-related payments
  • Produce financial reports, track income/spend, and analyse contract performance
  • Support emergency planning coordination and allocation of responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining property data, records, and rent rolls
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, invoices, and reconciliations across property and helpdesk activity
  • Coordinate team logistics, including meetings, travel, and continuous improvement of processes

Essential qualifications and experience

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience in property, facilities, surveying support, or a similar environment
  • Confident communication and stakeholder management
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital record systems
  • A proactive, detail‑focused approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Minimum of 2 A Levels or equivalent level of qualification.

Desirable qualifications and experience

  • Clean UK driving licence
  • Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management Level 3 or above
  • Knowledge and experience of financial reporting systems (e.g. Oracle)
