Do you want to help power your career and be part of an evolving energy industry? An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic students to join us on placement in our HR and Talent Acquisition teams. This one-year placement will include successful candidates spending 6 months experiencing a busy HR operational team and 6 months with our Talent Acquisition department, to gain valuable skills and experience to support you in your future career. Along with a competitive salary of £26,000, we also offer: 25 days holiday rising with tenure plus bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities- HR Operations
- Provide a range of support to the HR operations team which includes Head of ER, Head of HR Operations, HR Business Partners and HR Advisors.
- Provide admin support for disciplinary and grievance cases including arranging meetings, note taking, and preparing outcome letters.
- Assist with the management of long‑term sickness cases.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records.
- Create reports and presentations.
- Support the HR team with queries from the business.
- Supporting other areas of the HR team with peaks in workload.
- Any other duties within capability as required.
- Support wider HR projects and initiatives.
- Talent Acquisition
- Provide support to the Talent Acquisition team including Head of Talent Acquisition and Business Partners.
- Create and manage requisitions and adverts on our recruitment system and external platforms.
- Assist in screening applications and assessment processes.
- Support the attendance of recruitment events and coordinate activities.
- Organising candidate assessments including scheduling interviews.
- Work with communications to drive our brand awareness and social media recruitment campaigns.

Experience & QualificationsEssential Qualifications and Experience:
- Part way through studies in HR or Business with an HR specialism.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
