We’re looking for a Project Delivery Team Leader to join our Major Projects operations team. You’ll play a key role in delivering complex, high-voltage construction projects while leading, developing and supporting a team of highly skilled operational engineers.

As a Project Delivery Team Leader, you will be managing a team of operational engineers (Senior Authorised Persons) delivering varied construction projects safely and to time, cost and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Effective management and utilisation of resources
Effective team management, leadership and supervision
Line management of your team
Leading the training and development of your team
Carryout operational assessments
Carryout operational duties to support your team and the wider business, including 24/7 restoration
Accident and incident investigation
Ensure adequate network risk management by your team
Undertake safety, operational, quality, environmental and business process audits
Operational excellence as a role model for your team
HV and EHV operational experience and authorisations
Hold existing UK based Senior Authorised Person authorisations and regularly use these authorisations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills and experience
Extensive experience of delivering projects to time, cost and quality

What qualifications and experience should you have?

HNC, HND, degree, or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with at least three years of relevant operational experience as an SAP
Hold existing HV or EHV Senior Authorised Person status operating on a UK based distribution or transmission network, or UK based privately operated electricity network.
NEBOSH/IOSH or similar qualification
