An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic DUoS Analyst to join our Finance Team.

The DUoS analyst role is key to the overall DUoS billing and collection service NPg provide as they have responsibility in ensuring that the invoicing of the main income stream to the Company is carried out on a timely basis whilst ensuring all rigorous controls are followed and compliance with regulatory and financial obligations are maintained.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that the timely DUoS billing activities are carried out to maximise the Company\’s main income stream and meet all financial reporting deadlines (This will include data input, manipulation and system maintenance);
  2. Ensure effective governance and management control through the correct operation of processes in line with policies and procedures;
  3. Carry out detailed data analysis and validation, and where appropriate demonstrate innovation to develop technical solutions to identified risks and/or issues;
  4. Development of billing systems to facilitate regulatory/industry changes, with the appropriate UAT;
  5. A high level of written and verbal communication with internal/external customers regarding DUoS charging queries;
  6. Liaise and provide necessary data to the charges function within NT in order to feed into annual charge setting activities.

Qualifications and Attributes / Essential Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 5 GCSE’s at Grade 4 or higher (or the equivalent) including Mathematics and English language;
  2. Have a good to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook);
  3. Possess a logical and analytical mindset;
  4. Be well organized and have the ability to work well within a team environment or on your own;
  5. Possess very good verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  1. A Levels or Degree educated in an IT or data analytical area of study;
  2. Possess a PRINCE2 or equivalent qualification relating to IT systems/project management.

The successful candidate’s appointment is subject to a satisfactory credit check.
