An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Craft Jointer to join our Field Operations Team in West Yorkshire.

We offer a competitive salary of £32,689 – £41,176 plus banked hours, plus stand-by.

(Industrial Level 2 pp 5-9) You will be required to work a three-part shift pattern for which you will receive a 27% shift allowance.

Key Responsibilities

The cable jointer\’s role involves working on service, LV and HV cables on the NPG network. The work is predominantly outdoors. Work includes excavating ground works and cable installation ranging from service cables to High voltage cables and assisting with new connections whilst maintaining a high level of safety for all colleagues and members of the public. The successful candidate will become a mentor in learning and development of apprentices.

•City & Guilds 2320 or equivalent

•Completion of 3-year apprenticeship

•Previous jointing experience (preferably with a DNO)
