This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the implementation, optimisation and ongoing operation of Northern Powergrid's Oracle Fusion ERP platform. Working closely with Finance, IT and business stakeholders, you'll help ensure our finance systems support efficient processes, high-quality reporting and strong financial controls.
You'll be responsible for leading a team of Finance Systems Partners whilst driving continuous improvement across finance systems, processes and reporting. You'll also play a key role in the Oracle Fusion implementation programme, helping translate business requirements into effective system solutions and supporting successful delivery through to BAU operation.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading aspects of the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation, including requirements gathering, testing and go-live readiness.
- Managing and developing a team of Finance Systems Partners.
- Supporting the ongoing operation, maintenance and optimisation of Oracle Fusion.
- Acting as the link between Finance, IT and external partners.
- Driving process improvement and automation across finance systems and reporting activities.
- Supporting month-end, year-end and critical finance processes.
- Managing system issues, troubleshooting and coordinating resolutions.
- Developing reporting solutions and improving management information capabilities.
- Maintaining governance, controls, system documentation and data integrity.
- Supporting upgrades, enhancements and future finance technology developments.
- Helping shape the long-term finance systems strategy.
About You

You'll Ideally Have
- Experience working with Oracle Fusion ERP.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades or finance transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of finance processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management or Projects.
- Experience managing finance systems within a business-as-usual environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions.
- Experience leading teams and developing capability.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with finance reporting tools and dashboards.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in both project and operational environments.
- Experience of Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Knowledge of OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View or other Oracle reporting tools.
- Experience of finance process improvement and automation.
- Experience working within regulated or complex operational environments.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
