Our client is a well established, independent craft drinks producer and now one of the best known names in its field. Following significant investment two years ago and a change to ambitious new ownership, the business is in serious growth mode, with multiple taproom venues across the region, more in the pipeline, and a fast growing online shop.

They're looking for someone to take charge of marketing across the business, the brand and the venues. It's a big job, but a genuinely hands on one. Managing a small team, you'll take ownership across the piece, shaping how the brand shows up, driving footfall to the venues, growing the ecommerce channel, and building relationships with the major retailers who stock the product. You'll report directly to the Commercial Director and have real influence over how the business plans and delivers against its goals.

The role

  • Owning the marketing strategy for the business and brand, backed by a marketing budget you'll manage directly
  • Marketing for the venues, covering campaigns, content, events and paid media to drive footfall and engagement
  • Monthly new product launches and associated campaign activityl
  • Growing and managing the ecommerce channel
  • Off-trade marketing activity, supporting work with the major multiples who stock the products.
  • Social media planning and management, including engaging and maximising influencers
  • Managing and briefing freelancers, photographers and videographers as needed, alongside the agency
  • Reporting on performance, tracking KPIs, and making commercial decisions based on data

Managing a small team, so people skills matter as much as marketing ones

Above all, they need someone who's as strong on marketing planning and strategy as they are agile enough to respond when priorities shift. This is primarily an office based role, with a bit of flexibility where needed.

The person we're looking for will have experience in:

  • Marketing for breweries, hospitality or allied industries
  • Marketing strategy and planning
  • Running multi-channel consumer and trade campaigns
  • Working quickly, independently and commercially
  • Understanding culture, trends, and how to make a brand feel alive

Being a genuine self starter who focuses on getting on with the job

Why apply

This is a small, hardworking team in a fast growing business with a truly great product. You'll have real influence over how the business plans and delivers against its goals, backed by fresh investment and ambitious owners who want to build something bigger.
