Job Description:

This role will support the Finance Business Partner across all aspects of financial information including monthly reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc requests.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis and commentary
  • Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations
  • Be a subject matter expert on the respective Business Unit results
  • Prepare, review, and challenge budgets, business plans, and forecasts
  • Proactively suggest and implement process improvements
  • Liaise with Business Unit stakeholders to help them understand financial results
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors
  • Provide balance sheet and P&L analysis
  • Perform other ad hoc finance tasks
  • Participate in projects as required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Professional Accountancy Part Qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CA/ACA)
  • Degree in Finance or related field or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in a reputable accountancy firm or similar role
  • Experience in branch accounting is desirable
  • Strong experience in management accounts, reconciliations, and audits
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in fast-paced commercial environments
  • High problem-solving skills
