Northern Marine Manning Services are looking to recruit an experienced Chief Engineer for a Passenger vessel, for February 2026 working 4/4 rotation. The vessel will be working inside UK waters, so UK right to work or UK passport is essential.
Experience Required
- A minimum of 2 years sea time in current rank.
- Experience on a passenger vessel is preferred.

- Passport UK Residence or UK RTW Permit (if applicable).
- Seafarers Discharge Book.
- STCW Certificate of Competency (COC) – Chief Engineer.
- STCW Advanced MN Fire Fighting A-VI/3.
- STCW Elementary First Aid A-VI/1-3.
- STCW Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting A-VI/1-2.
- STCW Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities A-VI/1-4.
- STCW Personal Survival Techniques A-VI/1-1.
- STCW Crisis Management and Human Behaviour A-V/2.
- STCW Crowd Management A-V/2(7) & Passenger Safety A-V/2 (6).
- STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats A-VI/2-1 (other than Fast Rescue Boats).
- Confined Space Entry.
- ENG1 Medical = ILO Medical = Seafarer Medical.
