The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The role holder will be responsible for supporting the Finance Business Partner across all aspects of financial information including monthly reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts with supporting variance analysis and commentary
- Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations
- Be a subject matter expert on the respective BU results
- Prepare, review and challenge budgets, business plans and forecasts
- Maintain financial control processes
- Proactively suggest and implement process improvements
- Liaise with BU stakeholders on a regular basis in order to help them understand financial results
- Liaising with auditors both internally and externally
- Providing balance sheet and P&L analysis
- Other ad hoc finance tasks
- Be involved in projects as required
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Finance or business-related subject or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional Accountancy - Part Qualification (actively studying) ACCA/CIMA/CA/ACA.
- Either have trained within a reputable accountancy firm or will have experience in a similar position.
- Extensive experience in preparation of monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and audit involvement.
- Experience managing a diverse range of stakeholders both externally and within the business.
- Experience working within a fast-paced commercial environment
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence people at all levels of the organisation
- Extensive experience with MS Office packages
