The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
To assist and advise shore based Northern Marine Group companies on ISO standards, Business Continuity, GDPR compliance, shore-based health, and safety, and auditing functions. To both assist and lead as appropriate with the maintenance and development of the Company's Safety Management System.
Responsibilities
- The management, implementation and improvement of electronic quality and safety management systems including training in the use of.
- Preparation and undertaking of quality-based training to ensure business needs are met.
- Assist with the implementation of the change management processes including document management systems.
- Providing an audit function for shore-based business units, including management of audit plans and close out requirements.
- Preparation and analysis for relevant management review meetings, for the applicable ISO standards and data compliance.
- Preparation of management statistics for ISO compliance and business.
- Assist with management of company archive/storage OHSE/Data Security inspections for shore-based.
- Preparation and implementation of company Business Continuity.
- Assist in preparation of internal memos, safety, and security circulars.
- Conducting risk assessment OHSE and Information security.
- Assist with accident/incident investigation and follow up.
- Conduct employee inductions and training in HSE matters.
- Any other duties as required by the Company's Senior Management.
Emergency Role: act as on-scene coordinator in event of office evacuation.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience working in the Marine/Shipping industry.
- Demonstrable experience in a quality officer/assurance role or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience working with quality management and internal auditing.
- NEBOSH experience.
- Understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Proven ability to work to targets and deadlines.
- Extensive experience with MS office products.
