We are looking for a candidate to add to our mobile Rad Tech Team as Radiology Lithotripsy Technologist. As a Lithotripsy Tech, you will be trained to localize and break kidney and ureter stones in an OR setting. This specialized field puts you in control of treating patients directly, with the guidance of a Urologist. You would be trained by highly skilled technologists that have been in the field for many years.
LOCATION Jesup, GA
SKILLS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transporting of medical equipment to various medical facilities to include loading and unloading of all pertinent equipment to perform the procedure.
- Assist Urologist in the identification of calculi and accurately position patient for the treatment.
- Document required case activities in accordance with company policies while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
SCHEDULE Wednesday and every other Friday. Wednesday's are high volume and can sometimes be a 12+ hour day.
REQUIREMENTS
- ARRT Certification is required.
- BLS Certification.
- Ability to push, pull and/or manipulate over 100 pounds of medical equipment.
- Strong communication skills in communication with a variety of audiences.
