The Northern Lighthouse Board is the General Lighthouse Authority for Scotland and the Isle of Man, responsible for the superintendence and management of all lighthouses, buoys and beacons within those waters. Based at the NLB’s Headquarters in central Edinburgh with the option to Hybrid work, as Buyer you will manage quotes for goods and services and support the Procurement and Supply team with related NLB activities including below threshold procurement across the marine, construction and ICT sectors, amongst others. This is a fixed term post for two years.

You will hold or be willing to work towards achievement of a Procurement or Business qualification. Awareness of UK Public Procurements legislation. Awareness of Government Commercial Agency and other collaborative opportunities. Experience of using financial systems and procurement platforms. Planning and Time Management skills.
