Purpose of Position |
The School of Computing and Analytics at Northern Kentucky University (NKU) is seeking a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor to join our Computer Science and Software Engineering program. This position will focus on teaching both face-to-face and online courses in software engineering, programming, and general computer science, with opportunities to teach introductory courses in information technology and cybersecurity as well.
Part of the College of Informatics, the School of Computing and Analytics includes three main areas: Computer Science & Software Engineering, Cybersecurity & Information Technology, and Information Systems & Analytics. We have over 35 full-time faculty members and offer eight undergraduate and four graduate programs to more than 1,250 majors. This position is available for the 2025-2026 academic year, running from August 2025 to May 2026. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching four class sections each semester.
