We are currently offering both in-person and online tutoring. Tutor NKU students in course content and skills, for courses in which the tutor earned an "A" grade; maintain accurate records.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Tutor NKU students who request assistance in improving their skills, knowledge, or understanding of specific courses; maintain accurate records. [PLUS Tutors do NOT tutor writing or English composition courses; Writing Center consultants do this work.]
- Maintain adequate progress with training and development.
Qualifications:
- Acquire signed faculty recommendation form and attach as "Letter of Recommendation" to this application.
- 30 or more semester credit hours earned.
- Grade of "A" or "A-" in course(s) tutored.
- Enrollment in 6 or more semester credit hours during time of employment.
- Maintain GPA of 3.25 or higher.
Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.
