Student Employment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise the bouldering wall and all participants.
- Set routes.
- Teach proper spotting technique.
- Provide program and facility information.
- Assist in maintenance of bouldering wall, activity set-up and take down.
- Take daily equipment inventory.
- Assist with special events.
Qualifications:
- A. General: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- B. Skill: CPR & First Aid Certifications, CRC Ladder Training. Must have experience in rock climbing. Experience in route setting is preferred.
- C. Physical: Able to lift 50 lbs.
- D. Academic: Must meet University requirements for enrollment and student employment.
TRAINING PERIOD: Orientation session and policy manual provided. On-going in-service training attendance mandatory.
