BAND: 5 JOB PURPOSE: Good Relations Officers will focus on delivering support to our communities to ensure they are safe, connected, respectful, and tolerant. The officer will be responsible for delivering all aspects of good relations and building capacity within Housing Executive communities through delivery of action plans attached to our Cohesion and Involvement Strategies. In addition, the officer will support the Area to deliver financial investment through a range of grant funded programmes and to assist in the monitoring of community related social clauses attached to Planned Maintenance schemes. REQUIREMENTS: 1. i) Have a degree or equivalent level 6 qualification PLUS one year's relevant experience as a practitioner in a Community Relations/Community Development role OR ii) Have a BTEC Higher or equivalent level of qualification PLUS 2 years' relevant experience as a practitioner in a Community Relations/Community Development role OR iii) Can demonstrate equivalent continuing professional development or experiential learning AND 3 years' relevant experience in a Community Relations/Community Development role APPLICATION PROCESS Application should be made using the on-line application form.
