Heating/ Mechanical Inspector (Ref 2026-88)

Location: North Region

The post holder with regard to Mechanical Inspection will provide an inspection service on all Natural Gas, Oil, planned and response maintenance contracts to ensure the NIHE that all installations, servicing, and maintenance has been carried out in accordance with the contract documentation and the Statutory Regulations, materials and workmanship.

The post holder will inspect and measure works completed at various stages throughout construction including relevant certifications updating these on the NIHE computer database and maintain detailed records. The post holder will forward a report on their findings to the M&E Project Manager/Inspectorate Manager on a weekly basis.

The current salary for this post is £32,597 - £36,363 per annum. We also have an excellent pension scheme with an employer contribution of 19%.
