JOB PURPOSE: To provide strategic leadership to the Health & Safety Teams for Construction, NIHE Direct, Projects and Contracts, within Health & Safety Services across all areas of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE). To ensure that the NIHE complies with all current Health & Safety legislation and associated Approved Codes of Practice (ACoP's) and official guidance and standards and to develop and implement Health & Safety best practice across NIHE.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent level qualification (Level 6*) in Health & Safety. It will be the responsibility of the applicant to demonstrate equivalency.
