Join Our Team as a Shop Manager at Northern Ireland Hospice, 292 -294 Shankill Road. This exciting opportunity combines retail leadership with a meaningful purpose, raising vital funds that support specialist palliative care for people and families across Northern Ireland.
As Shop Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the shop, maximising sales, managing staff and volunteers, and creating a welcoming space for customers and supporters. You will play a key role in engaging the local community, encouraging donations, and ensuring the shop delivers an excellent customer experience.
This is a practical, hands-on role involving the regular handling, sorting and preparation of donated goods, including frequent lifting, carrying and steaming of clothing as part of day-to-day shop operations.

The Role
You will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the shop, including:
- Driving sales through excellent merchandising and promotion of donated goods
- Managing and supporting a team of staff and volunteers
- Delivering outstanding customer service
- Building strong relationships within the local community to encourage donations and support
- Ensuring the shop operates efficiently, safely, and in line with charity policies and procedures
