Band 5 Bank Rate £37,796 pro rata / £19.33 per hour (Mileage rates apply)

Contracts:

  • Permanent Part-Time 15.5 hours per week in Northern Trust Area
  • Waiting List for Permanent and Temporary Full and Part-Time roles in Southern, Northern, or South-Eastern Trusts
  • Bank

Location: This is a combined role based between Community and Horizon House IPU (Community refers to Northern, South-Eastern and Southern Health & Social Care Trust Areas but post-holders will be primarily community based)

Role: The Staff Nurse will work predominantly in the child's own home within the trust but will also be required to work in the Children's IPU. He/she will participate in the assessment, planning and delivery of care to the children and the delegation of care to non-registered members of the care team promoting a philosophy of holistic care and active engagement of children and families. The role will include both day and night duty.

The Organisation: The Northern Ireland Hospice is a local charity offering specialist respite, symptom management and end of life palliative care to infants, children, and adults across Northern Ireland.
