- Sustainable Development Officer
37 hours per week
Scale PO1, SCP 29-32, £39,862 to £42,839 per annum.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Have operational and development responsibility for sustainability within the Parks & Open Spaces section. Support the Council’s climate actions and ensure Parks & Open Spaces section contributes to Council’s net zero targets. Manage, promote and develop a range of services including allotment management, food growing, sustainable food programmes, community horticultural initiatives, tree management and biodiversity, including associated projects ensuring budgetary control.
