We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a qualified and experienced Overhead Linesperson to join NIE Networks. We’re looking for individuals who demonstrate a high level of competence, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
This role involves working at height using a MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform), ladders, scaffolding, and pole climbing as required. Proven experience in pole replacement and restringing across all distribution voltage levels is essential.
Successful candidates will also participate in a standby rota and will initially be assigned to our Overhead Lines Refurbishment team based in Omagh. To meet key customer service and emergency response requirements, applicants must reside within a 30-mile radius of our Omagh and Enniskillen locations—as calculated using the ‘shortest route’ option on the AA Route Planner.
