Essential Criteria
It is essential that the successful candidate meets the following requirements:
- Educated to degree level in Human Resource Management, Business Studies or a related discipline, or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Professionally qualified to Associate Member level (Assoc CIPD) of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
- A minimum of three years' experience providing professional HR advice at advisor level and support across a range of employee relations matters, including attendance management, disciplinary, grievance and performance management cases.
- Knowledge and practical application of employment legislation, HR policies and procedures.
- Involvement in recruitment and selection activities.
- Ability to prepare and maintain HR-related documentation, reports and correspondence.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Hold a full current UK driving licence and have access to a car to meet the travel requirements of the role.
