Now recruiting for our award winning Apprenticeship Programme, offering hands‑on training and career development in the energy sector. With over 50 years of success and more than 650 qualified apprentices, this 2‑3 year programme combines expert mentoring, in‑house training, and real world experience.
We’re hiring apprentices for the following roles:
- Overhead Lines persons – Build and maintain overhead electricity lines (must be comfortable working at heights).
- Plant Maintenance Electricians – Maintain and refurbish equipment in substations and street furniture.
- Underground Cable Jointers – Carry out cable jointing for new connections and major infrastructure projects.
- Plant Workshop Electrical & Mechanical Fitters – Based in Silverwood, Lurgan, working on equipment in our Plant Workshop.
Requirements:
- 16 by the start date (September 2026)
- Have, or expected to achieve a minimum of 3 GCSEs including Maths, English and a STEM related subject at grade A* – D (or equivalent)
- Hold a full current driving licence or be willing to obtain a driving licence as soon as possible
