The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission is recruiting for the following permanent position: Head of Research and Information Service Ceannasa na Seirbhse Taighde agus Faisnéise Salary range: £81,349 – £83,765 The Head of Research and Information Service (RaISe) is a critical role with responsibility for the provision of professional, evidence based, non-partisan research and information services to Assembly Members, Assembly Committees, the Assembly Commission and senior management. The Head of RaISe leads a team of approximately 42 staff, comprising of senior researchers (SROs), researchers (ROs), librarians and support staff. We offer a supportive and rewarding working environment. This role offers hybrid working and we have a number of family friendly policies. In addition to your competitive salary, we offer excellent pension provision where you contribute between 4.6 and 8.05% of salary and the employer contribution rate is 34.25% of your salary. We also provide a generous 25 days annual leave entitlement on joining and this increases by one day per year up to a maximum of 30 days. We also offer 12 public and privilege holidays per year. You will be invested in and have the opportunity to avail of a variety of learning and development activities, starting with our Getting On-Board programme.
