The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission is recruiting for the following permanent positions:

  • Visitor Experience Supervisor (1 post) - Salary range: £36,122 - £37,323
  • Visitor Experience Officer (multiple posts) - Salary range: £29,137 - £30,870

The Visitor Experience Team, made up of Visitor Experience Officers, a Visitor Experience Supervisor and a Visitor Experience Manager, is responsible for meeting and greeting all visitors to Parliament Buildings and carrying out reception duties including signing in of visitors and provision of security passes; welcoming visitors in the Great Hall and signposting and providing information. The Team also provides a range of guided tours of Parliament Buildings. Visitor Experience Officers provide administrative and operational support for activities and events that take place in Parliament Buildings daily. This includes working with organisers, Members and internal colleagues.

The role of the Visitor Experience Supervisor is to assist in leadership, operation and development of the team responsible for the provision of high-quality visitor experiences and services in Parliament Buildings. We also provide a generous 25 days annual leave entitlement on joining, which increases by one day per year up to a maximum of 30 days. These posts are based in Parliament Buildings and no hybrid working arrangements are available.
