The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission is recruiting for the following permanent position:
Assembly Clerk
The Clerking business area in the Northern Ireland Assembly directly supports Assembly business in the Chamber and in committees, including scrutiny and legislation.
We are seeking a highly motivated, talented and versatile individual who is dedicated to providing a quality service in an exciting and dynamic political environment. The successful candidate will provide robust and well-considered advice to a range of important officeholders at the Northern Ireland Assembly and must be passionate about delivering innovation and improvement in their work.

You will enjoy a range of employee benefits designed to reward your hard work. In addition to your competitive salary, we offer excellent pension provision where you contribute 7.35% of salary and the employer contribution rate is 34.25% of your salary.
We also provide a generous 25 days annual leave entitlement on joining and this increases by one day per year up to a maximum of 30 days. We also offer 12 public and privilege holidays per year.
You will be invested in and have the opportunity to avail of a variety of learning and development activities, starting with our Getting On-Board programme. You will be able to participate in health and wellbeing initiatives including access to support via our Employee Assistance Programme. We also offer free on-site parking.
