Location: Tenby House, Barrow in Furness

Full-Time | 38.5 Hours Per Week | £14.45 per hour with enhanced overtime rates

What You'll Be Doing

As a team leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in the rehabilitation journey of the people we support. You’ll lead and support a team of Support Workers, ensuring exceptional care and outcome‑focused support at every step. Every day will bring challenges — but also incredible rewards as you witness the progress and empowerment of those you support.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leading the day‑to‑day operations alongside the Service Manager.
  • Promoting daily independence in the people we support.
  • Supervising and mentoring Support Workers.
  • Safely administering prescribed medication.
  • Allocating duties effectively across the team.
  • Championing person‑centred care and positive relationships with the people we support and their families.
  • Maintaining accurate, respectful records.
  • Promoting safeguarding, confidentiality, and best practices at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience supporting adults with mental health conditions or learning disabilities in an inpatient setting or challenging environment.
  • Knowledge and experience working with drug and alcohol addiction would be advantageous.
  • Leadership experience or a strong desire to take the next step into a leadership role.
  • Empathy, resilience, and dedication to making a difference.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ideally, Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
