Responsibilities:
- Administer nutrition plan for food preparation and service programs.
- Conduct research to improve nutritional programs and food service operations.
- Determine the appropriate food route when an individual prescription indicates that nutrition is a determining factor in the treatment of the disease.
- Develop nutrition plan for food service programs.
- Evaluate normal and therapeutic menus to maintain and enhance general health.
- Monitor the nutritional status of individuals who follow a predetermined nutritional treatment plan.
- Provide nutrition guidance and consultation to health professionals, community groups, government or the media.
